Happy Holiday (Sweaters)

I was in a Yankee swap last night and the hottest item was a fabulously tacky holiday sweater. I think Chrissy is on the cutting edge of a new trend. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

Shhhh....

Care,

after reading your comment about the Urban exchange...uh, wait, I meant "non-exchange", I just seductivley rubbed my finger down my nose and then mouth in a "Neff" like motion. It was good.

Harvs-kudos on the crazy elbows "Crazy Elbows" shot...soooo good.

Care/Roy/Other techies- How do you post links like that?? So fancy, the way you just threw it in there, Care (in a similar fashion to another exciting and 'nerdy' blog I read-btw, that amazing rock video made my day)

Brielle-currently in my last week of the semester. Feel my pain (and by pain, I mean overeating junk food stomach pains and the mental pain of watching too much "The Fabulous Life of" and not doing enough work on my manuscript)

Equals Sign Us?

I was searching for beloved mock boyband 2gether on imdb. Soon I was looking to purchase the dvd of their classic film on amazon in hopes of surprising a certain roomate (although she may still have Andrea's copy from freshman year). And actually, if you do still have it you should make copies and sell them because amazon is charging 242 dollars for the dvd and 47 for the vhs. At least poeple know its true value.
Anyway, I was pursuing the subject and found this article about QT Mcknight. I vaguely remember a running joke about him being sick but I always assumed it to be a "Screech died from a coke overdose" type of rumor. So sad.

Oh and Ang, great job with the pictures. It made me so happy to see those college shots complete with Ang commentary. However, you are bold Ang. I think we are all hoping that no Urban Outfitters employees view that last pic of us at Radio Bean (possibly taken by John Wallock?) and I think you know why. A starry eyed customer, a would be graduation dress and a changed mind.

High Honors

Hello friends,

Well, here in NJ, the clock is really ticking and the pile of work I have to complete before going to England is growing, and yet, here I am playing, yet again, with this fascinating picture mechanisim.

On that note, I would like to invite you all (you too Roy) to sit back, crack open a nice, warm can of D.Coke, throw on your favorite pair of ice cream stained sweat pants, and, Care, to put on your glasses, and join me for the first ever "Chitty Photo Awards".

The first award this evening goes to a woman of high honor, who has a love of volleyball, racial slurs, and logo-tees. Please, a round of applause for this years best "Shamrock Pajama Pant Shot":

I'm certain Kevin and Roe would be pleased with that smile.

Next. As we all know, college is a strange oasis of beer infused sexual experimentaion. That said, who could ever forget the old, "Seducing Brielle into O-Face move" as apparently mastered by her favorite big-handed wonder. I present to you the best "I have a firm ass...go on, feel it" shot:

They dress alike, they talk alike, sometimes they even drink alike...It's the "Getting Down to Business Award":

There is something about Mesh caps and DEP hair gel that makes me want to wag my tongue and thrust my hand into "college" form. And for that reason alone, I am thrilled to present the "COLLEGE PIC" award to these two wonderful ladies:

Congrats, truly.

It is the end of your college career. Emotions are running high. Alcohol content is running even higher. You long for memories that have just hardly passed. You need to relive those memories. So you break into your freshman dorm, bang on the door of Chitty 411, steal cupcakes and apparently a Sam's Club sized jug of animal crackers. I offer you the, "Breaking into Chitty and calling the girl that lives in your old dorm a "nerd" for studying on a Friday night during exam week" shot:

Some things in life are so expected, that they hardly need documentation. Everything about this shot screams with the expected, from the youth commission tee, to the waving hands, the unsure look, the cluttered room in the backdrop. And for those reasons, I give you the "Most Typical"shot of the year:

It's been there for the good, the bad, the ugly. Stressed about exams? Aching for a lost lover? Waiting for someone to call you about getting a "bag?" May we all rise, please, to salute, our friends, Mr. and Mrs. D. Coke, who are accompanied this evening by their guests, Mr. and Mrs. unflattering head accessories. Let's give them a hand everyone.

Life is hard at times. Even when wearing the most righteous of gear. The winner for the best "Sad Viking" shot goes to the one, the only, the original Sad Viking:

It appears that for our final category tonight, there is a tie. Apparently our judges were not able to decide between these two, stunning shots. I feel privlaged tonight to unveil to you the winners of this years "Beautiful Ladies":

Thanks so much for joining us tonight. Please, do not forget to grab your complimentary gift bags on the way out, filled with a fine selection of 180 count pink blankets, Boxes of delicious Annie's Mac and Cheese (peas optional), compilation CD's featuring the likes of J. Timberlake, 50 Cent, and Nelly, as well as a finely embroidered City Market sweatshirt.

And, please, drive safely. We don't need to pull another Nicole Ritchie.

Still not all grown-up

To top Harvey's post:

This week WOULD HAVE been my 1-year anniversay at my job, but I prefer to be irresponsible, and quit (please notice that I write this post from my current job, where, rather than working, I am writing on this blog/scoping facebook/scoping myspace/scoping gofug, etc.).

Bri-that post just made me laugh. I told Harvey, the other night, I couldn't sleep b/c of my Shingles meds, and I started looking through some SATISFYING college pics. Lets just say they involved shamrock pj pants, long flowing skirts, visibly dirty houses, a scrabble board, and at least one viking hat. I might have to try to scan them aand post them for all to view.

Also, Harvey, I am borrowing a holiday sweater from my dad's florist friend, which might make it even worse than a teacher's.

Also, I would like it if someone could contact CJ and see if he has invented some sort of teleporter/time machine yet, as I would really, really enjoy if we could go back in time to a year and half ago when we all still lived together.

It is a must that we have a get together in February.

One final request-Care, I'm going to have to ask that you be a little more active on Facebook and/or create a myspace account. It is extremley challanging to spy on you/your life when I have no constant internet means. Let's put this task on some sort of ang-style to-do list.
thanks,
the management

All grown up

Today, 12.12.06, is my one year anniversary at my job. EWWW/Weird. I want to go back to college where it is okay for me to leave my ash filled shot glasses lying around the house. Oh the good times.

P.S-i bought my holiday sweater this weekend and it is AWESOME!

As I "study" for my second to last finals ever, I am having strong cravings/flashbacks for the/to the following things....

*deliciously overpriced flatbread from City Market
*Harvey's cries of defeat when she find my high Snood score on her computer
*"cleaning" my room and or "helping Care clean her room" whilst we lurked on nerdy and talk about summer
*Doing 15 weeks of written reflections in two short hours
*Bill Clintoning on any and all stoops
*Ragtag "study groups" consisting of members of the freshman Botany class who combined had about 15% of the notes necessary to complete the final
*Harvey's wild aderall eyes
*Hours in the trenches at Bailey Howe surrounded by personal cd players, d coke and goldfish
*Full sweat suits and unwashed hair worn to class
*Cleaning out mini fridges( i.e. drinking old milk and skunked Mikes Hard Lemonade)
*The photo ang has of nobody studying for finals
*Colleen, Ang (faking it), Care and Katie in academic mode and all in their glasses
* Derek Strout on our answering machine recounting the tweeting of birds while Care and I slept before our last final

Holiday Sweaters

Ang already knows this, but i thought ya'll should know b/c it is going to be so fabolous. Chrissy is hosting a holiday sweater party on Dec. 15. The e-vite specifies entrance into the party is only granted if you are wearing the most delicioulsy tacky, bedazzled, puffy painted holiday sweater you can possibly find. No sweater=no admission. I have my eye on a really good one, but i am being cheap and waiting for it to go on sale (tacky bells and snowman jewlery has already been purchased). And the kicker of this party is a rumor that Mr. Lucas Markowitz himself will be attending. I have my hopes set high for his sweater. I am thinking a knitted menorah with jeweled flames and dradels all over. Pictures will definatley be posted.

Selfie for Life

I heard a rumor that the first one was...whatever, I was tan, my makeup looked immpeccable and noone but me was around to snap the shot...the lycra however, sadly, there were many people around for. I almost wish that had been a selfie.

gnight my loves. Red wine+ herpes meds+ chocolate cookies may not have been the wisest choices this evening.

Good Grief(sorry, I watched a Charlie Brown Xmas Special last night)

well done Ang

tell me that is a selfie

Hi guys. This is my first attempt at pictures (that's me...hi guys!) I thought I would post something nice, just a little image for you to associate with my words...

But then I got to thinking that it is probably something more like this that you are really looking for

Yeah, that's what I thought.

Enjoy the weekend suckas'.
