pictures

I've noticed that a certain creative writing grad sudent has been contributing some excellent puns to the sight.

OK so to post links just use the buttons that appear below the "title" section of the post that you are creating. The 3rd one from the left is the link button. I believe that the one all the way to the right is for posting pictures.

After you click on them they are pretty self explanitory.

I wouldn't mind if pluto or hot sauce made an appearance.

Uh, wait, how did you do that. I'm still a little in the dark(room) about how we post pics. Um, I'm going to have to ask someone to post some sort of step by step instructions.

I'm ready to move on to the next challenge

link this!

OK that was kind of easy due to that automataic "link" button. So lets see some pictures.

Sharkoline

Sharkoline! Sharkoline! Do you see what I've been missing!?! God, my work day is going better already now that I have nerdy back. Roy, perhaps we can have some sort of "lurk-off" if you will. Care, that costume was definatlley equatable with a certain pea pod friend of ours. nice.

Harvey- way to chime in with that nice stereotype of Taiwan. always your style, always a pleasure.

chadsey-I am currently imagining you eating joyously from a bag of Brooks brand toasted coconut marshmallows, reading these posts, and laughing an evil laugh knowing that your "non-posts" are bugging the shit out of harvey. job well done friend. job well done indeed.

roy, are you excited that i had a dream about you? glad to know my extreme psychic powers were able to summon that smurf SAT memory for you. if it makes you feel any better, i once dyed my hair purple b/c i thought i was a witch. if i had kept it, i bet a totally could have cast a spell on those SATS.

And yes, Shingles are quite random. They're already starting to go away thanks to my herpes cream.

Seacrest out---

Seriously?

Ang...shingles? Random. Hope you feel better. How long does it take to go away?

Care...Congrats on acceptance into that teaching program. Taiwan seems like it would be awesome. I am picturing you fitting right in w/ all the random chickens i bet they have running around those streets. Is Roy going with?

Chaucny...post something damn it!

just a few things

a) Mom, of course I'm lurking.

2) Ang, you wrote a post wherein I played the part of the morally-torn all-blue get-away-car driver which is a little strange since that really did happen. Almost. The night before taking the SATs in high school I thought it would be a really good idea to dye my hair bright blue. Then, on the morning of the test, I decided it would be an even better idea to wear only blue clothes. It was a little lonely being the only smurf taking the SATs that year.

D) Caroline, I would like to plead my case for using a link in the beginning of Part 2 of this post. It was not an attempt to get all up in your face about posting links, rather, it served to establish the context upon which the rest of that part was based.

Don't worry Ang. Try roy.nerdy.net rather than nerdy.net. It has been up and running for a while so I'm sure that you can fill many an idle unit of time spying on these "nerdy" peeps.

Lambda challenge of the month:
How can we post links and pictures?

I want to do this without the help of a certain romantically involved computer software engineer so get computing! You all have executive editing power so that shouldn't be a problem. Good luck and a virtual high five to the winner.

Shingle Bells

Dear 69 Hungerford:

So, for those of you that aren't in the know, I currently have Shingles. That's right, the chicken-pox like virus that usually only effects really old people, and has to be treated with the same medicine as herpes. So, at the moment, my back in covered in scabs/herpes cream, so I'm gonna say life is...itchy...and kind of gross.

Other than that, things are good. Care, congrats on being accepted! How long is it for, a semester? So cool!!!I'd better get some sweet Japanese postcards. I'll be back from UK at the endish of January. Do you know when you are leaving in Feb? Let's def try to plan a weekend sometime in Feb before you leave? I'd really like to get up there to see everyone and start to scope for some apartments, so that seems like it would be the perfect time!

School is good, but I'm sure Chadsey will agree that grad-school is not so much difficult as it is time consuming. I'm such a book geek, it's unreal. I rarely have a chance to go out anymore, and the other night, friends and I went bar hopping, and I seriously was such a lightweight...I had like 4 light beers and was tripping out of my wedged shoes, and singing 80's rock ballads in all my friends faces. Who would have thought. My cousin Michael is getting married next weekend. The dress= amazing. I felt like I was shopping for my prom. Look out for perfectly posed selfies via facebook in the coming days.

Okay, Harvey, good job getting us all chatting. What's the deal with Nerdy? I need a new blog to waste away the minutes at work. Go Fug only takes me so far! (B- those pleather leggings that were on today....UGH!!!)

(It should be noted that as I am writing this, my mom just randomly came in and told me she thinks I would be really good at doing the "Naked News". I don't know why she just said that. Hopefully you guys know what that is. If not, google it.)

Okay, love to you all. Chauncy, you'd better join in this conversation (I'm shaking my fist with force).
heart,
gella

Harvey,
I thought it was a great post. Thinking of Kevin and Ro with a new washer and dryer put a smile on my face. I'm sure your logo tees will enjoy a luxurious gentle cycle.

Ang, when are you going to be London? I was accepted into a teaching program in Taiwan and I think I am leaving at the end of February so we all need to hang before you/I leave.

A crazy old lady backed into me today. I wish you guys had been there. She was sneaky!!

Chestnuts Roasting

Hello ladies (and gents if Roy is lurking):

Long time no post. Hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving. So whats up with everyone? Care, are you still planning your trip to Japan? Chauncy, whats the deal w/ school and other stuff? You're almost done right? Ang, (i just saw you, so i basically know whats going on w/ you) how is getting ready for England and such? Give me updates people! SHit is kinda slow down here. No more danny j, he is too into the nose candy now. Im still trying to get my car back from my sister. That was the biggest mistake i ever made. Kev and Ro bought a new washer/dryer (my life is soo exciting). Anyways, we need to meet up soon. I know Ang is thinking once she gets back from England, but let me know if you guys wanna come down at all. You can stay w/ me and pluto. We would love to have you.
P.S-this is the most worst post ever-sorry if i didn't make any sense!

Extra Ketchup Please

I felt like you guys needed to know that last night,I had this totally amazing/totally random dream that I was at some concert, and low and behold one Brett Masterson was on stage performing, which, apparently, was a big surprise to the dream version of me. So, I furiously tapped the arm of the "dream friend" next me, and kept screaming "Omigod, French Fry Head!!! French Fry head!!!!!" Only, on top of Brett's head was not his 'normal' spikey fries, but these huge, plastic fry-like structures. Amazing. It looked like somethig out of an 80's rock video. I think I had it b/c the other night, at a Guns and Roses concert, a friend and I took turns trying on a McDonalds brand french fry halloween costume and running through the acid-washed jeans/kid rock look alike festivities in the parking lot (it would be best if you did not ask as to why we had acess to this costume)which, naturally, made me brifely think of Brett's beloved boufantt.

I called one of my jersey friends in the middle of the night when I woke up laughing hysterically and alone in my bed. She found humor in it, but I don't think appreciated the full-on comcial factor of the french fry experience. I thought you guys would.

ciao.

news for music fans

Okay, if you don't already know/use it log onto www.pandora.com
hard to explain what it is/ too lazy to bother doing so, but it's my new best friend.
go check it out.
you're welcome.

toxic

I particularly liked the mock letter posted on 'go fug yourself' in which Brit exploded with joy at her recent decision/indulged her audiences in her new post-babe bod.
Divorce is sad, although a world without new singles in the likes of 'Toxic' may be more so. I think

Seeing as we tend to post other Britney news...

She filed for divorce from k-fed and then she went ice skating. So sad.
