Big Living 'Pepper' style

Just a little clip taken from People Magazines 'Project Runway-Where are They Now?' feature.
Indulge. Savor. Enjoy.

WENDY PEPPER

Season 1
Pepper, the long-shot designer mom from Middleburg, Va., whom everyone loved to hate, says the show "was a transformative experience." Shortly after Runway's wrap, she shed 40 lbs. and gave her own auf wiedersehen to her husband of five years, woodworker Robert Downing. Now 41, she's designing clothes for private clients and has since appeared on Bravo's Celebrity Poker Showdown and last August's Battle of the Network Reality Stars.

-just a brief aside. The People website also offers a stunning feature of Mrs. Pepper, sans logo baseball cap.

Newt

I would like to begin by stating how much fun i had w/ you guys. It was great to see everyone and we need to do it more often. Secondly, i went on my first overnight business trip last thrus-friday. I was sent to D.C for a conference called "Advancing Excellence in America's Nursing Homes" and it was suprisingly intresting. There were a shit load of speakers, mostly senators and stuff. Newt Gingrich, Paul Grassley (chairman of the sentate finance committee), Bob Kerrey and Haley Barbour (govenour of Mississippi) were all there. I hate Newt Gingrich, but unfortunately, he was a suprisingly charming speaker, as i imagine all politicians have to be. THe icing on the cake was the Gov of Miss. He's an asshole to begin with, and no joke, he sounds exactly like Forest Gump. I laughed out loud a couple times throughout his speech and got a nasty look from the old woman sitting in front of me. Everytime he referenced Newt, he said Newt's name in this dumbass sounding southern accent that was about one of the funniest things i have ever heard. They also had a bunch of residents from the local nursing homes come in to give their opinions on a bunch of the topics. There were these two women, one white, one black, and this other black guy, all in wheelchairs. They would ask the two women questions first, and after their responses, they would ask Lawrence, the black guy what he thought. He kepts saying "playing off what my two sister's over here are saying..." Old people can be sooo cute. Then in the train station on the way home (p.s-union station is absolutely gorgeous) i see none other than Joe Liberman (sen. from Conn.) A couple people stopped him for a picture and he actually kissed a baby. I didn't think they really did that. Anyway, all in all it was a good/interesting trip. I guess i am officially a professional.

Dream a little Dream

So, over the weekend I had this dream that I was in this shopping mall someplace (probably in NJ, the home of the shoppng mall), when I found myself in Anthropologie. I was scanning the racks when I found this wrap-around hoodie that was simply to die for. I had to have it! But in typical Anthro. fashion, it was way too expensive. I didn't know what to do. I literally had to have this damn hoodie! So, I very casually rolled it up and tucked it inside of my purse. This hoodie was that great.
So I ran with great speed out to the parking lot to my get-away car, which, for some odd reason was being driven by Roy. Only, Roy was wearing this outstandingly tacky all baby-blue ensemble...I'm talking baby-blue shirt, bably-blue golf shorts, baby-blue baller shoes, baby-blue headband...I mean, this outfit was rich! So I got in the car and was like, "Roy, let's go", and I showed him my hot merchandise and Roy was like "What!?!? Why did you steal that!!?!?" And I just screamed really loud, "Roy, you don't understand. Their clothes are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!!!!!!!"

It was awesome. I totally woke up laughing. Roy, you in baby-blue= bonus.
Good day all. Good day.
